Our client, a leading provider of corporate trust, custodial, fund administration, and financial intermediary services, is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead and oversee their technology operations. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the company’s IT strategy, ensuring robust infrastructure, and supporting their modern, commercial, and independent fund services platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company’s business goals. Lead the IT department in planning and executing technology roadmaps to support the efficiency and regulatory compliance of the platform.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management of IT infrastructure across offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Singapore, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Lead initiatives to upgrade and modernize systems as needed to maintain the company’s reputation for operational excellence.
- Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation projects that enhance operational efficiency and support the development of practical, client-focused solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced technology solutions into business processes.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Ensure the team has the skills and resources needed to deliver high-quality IT services in a non-aligned, unconflicted environment.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments. Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and value for the company’s clients.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate IT risks, ensuring business continuity and data security. Implement policies and practices to protect company assets and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Director or in a similar senior IT leadership role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems management, and digital transformation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to align technology strategies with business objectives in a highly regulated environment.
- Experience with budgeting and vendor management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
