• Supporting the Home Manager to plan and facilitate regular staff meetings: staff supervision establishing an effective communication system, ensuring that staff members are kept up to date with all current necessary information
• Providing support and assistance to staff members and ensuring that areas of responsibility are maintained and to delegate duties to staff as appropriate, ensuring implementation

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Previous experience of working with a large multi-site Care Provider within a capacity of a high-Level Manager
• Excellent knowledge of the CQC standards
• Working knowledge of Legislation and the Regulatory Framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people
• Flexible and willing to travel and work a variety of shifts, including the occasional weekend shifts

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience and knowledge of contract and performance management.
• Negotiation skills, cost optimisation and dispute resolution processes.
• Experience of managing significant or multidisciplinary contracts with a proven track record of supporting IT procurements.
• Communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build credibility with stakeholders.
• The ability to articulate contract issues and produce high-level reports for senior managers and partners.
• Knowledge and Experience in digital and technology contract management platforms e.g., ServiceNow, In-Tend and Oracle or equivalent.

This role will support the Category Manager in delivering effective, compliant and cost-effective procurement of services across digital and technology, with a specific focus on below-threshold procurements. This permanent vacancy comes with a salary of between £35,000-40,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience), a hybrid working pattern and a generous benefits package.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs.
• Support the Category Manager in the delivery of below threshold procurement in accordance with relevant sourcing pipelines and strategies.
• Support in policy reviews and contract health checks.
  Manage the e-tendering portal and support in the preparation of tenders and ITT documentation.
• Support the Category Manager in evaluating offers and supplier selection.
• Support the drafting of detailed progress reports around IT procurement activities.
• Support the delivery of savings targets in line with budgets.
• Support the relevant stakeholders to ensure all procurement activity is in accordance with relevant compliance standards and regulations.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in a similar procurement role, with a record of accomplishment in delivery procurement projects, preferably within the IT category (although this is not an essential).
• Good communication, collaboration and negotiation skills, with the ability to build credibility with a varied community of stakeholders.
• The ability to use procurement data to identify themes and trends, advise on routes to market and improve service delivery.
• Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.

I am delighted to be working on behalf of a key Food Manufacturing client, looking for a Maintenance Shift Team Leader, leading 4 Technicians/ Engineers and driving shift performance for reactive and proactive maintenance across the site. This is a fast-paced manufacturer, with a mix of assets including mechanical, electrical, site services and automation.

The newly appointed Maintenance Team Leader will report to the Engineering Manager and assume responsibility for planning, budgets, maintenance schedules, people leadership and development, and much more.

What you'll need to succeed

For your application to be successful, you will be an apprentice trained maintenance engineer with an electrical bias.
Experience mentoring and leading a small team is desirable and, ideally, you'll have exposure to fast-moving, highly automated environments, such as food, beverages, textiles, cosmetics, pharma, packaging and similar.

Additional requirements:

• Have extensive experience of maintaining a live manufacturing plant post apprenticeship
• Have the correct right to work in the UK without expiry
• Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a production environment in the UK
