• Salary: £35.000- £38,000 per annum, based on experience
• Contract: 45hrs per week
• Shifts: Morning and evening straight shifts only
• Typical shift patterns: 08:00–17:30 or 13:30–23:00
• Team: Big brigade, meaning lots of opportunities for progression.
• Accommodation: Live in available
Live in Head Pastry Chef Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with suppliers, manage stock levels, and ensure top-quality ingredients
• Maintain hygiene standards and deliver high-quality pastries and desserts
• Train, lead, and motivate the pastry team, including task delegation and staff scheduling
• Work with senior chefs on menu development and handle customer feedback professionally in the head chef's absence
Live in Head Pastry Chef (Ideal) Candidate:
• Passion for creativity, and an eye for detail to craft beautiful and innovative desserts
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Great communication skills and the ability to train and support the kitchen team are a must
