The Role:
As the Senior Talent and Development Advisor you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our talent & development strategy of the University. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager and working alongside our Talent and Development Partners in a varied role, you will ensure the impact of all development activities is maximised through analysing data, marketing the development opportunities, and delivering development initiatives to our colleagues.
Working collaboratively, you will prepare & monitor the talent and development budget. This entails creating business cases for securing external funding and overseeing the management of purchase orders, invoices, and payment processing.
Facilitating events is a focal point of our talent development proposition. You will deliver induction sessions to new employees and colleague training in management development initiatives in support of ENU strategies and People Team development objectives. You will also have to opportunity to create and deliver engaging sessions suitable for colleagues at all levels including senior leadership both in person and online.
Additionally, you will actively work to increase awareness of and engagement with the talent and development offering through managing our online presence, internal communications, and development calendar.
This role would be well suited for someone looking for an opportunity to progress in their career in management and leadership development as they will have exposure to colleagues at all levels.
What we will need from you:
- Experience in a comparable role with evidence of ongoing professional development
- Experience of leadership and management development initiatives
- Experience of delivering and facilitating engaging sessions suitable for colleagues at all levels including senior leadership levels both in person and online
- A passion to seek out, drive and implement continuous improvements and inspire others to do the same
- Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills
- Knowledge of diversity and equal opportunities principles and best practice
- Budget management experience, and an understanding of cost versus benefit and return on investment
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative to solve problems

Salary: £36,024 - £44,263
Hours: 35 hours per week
