A specialist renewables division within a national group of electrical distribution companies is looking for a motivated Internal Salesperson to join their new location in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you can make an impact and build strong business relationships.
You'll be joining a successful electrical wholesaler who already employs over 4,000 people across hundreds of UK locations. The renewables sector of the business is growing rapidly with high demand and fast stock turnover of their products. With an annual turnover exceeding £1.7 billion, they're a company that continues to grow through acquisitions and the high-quality service they provide to their clients. They pride themselves on their decentralised business model as well as building long-lasting relationships with their customers, suppliers and employees.
Role Responsibilities
As an Internal Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with and delivering excellent customer service to new and existing B2B customers
- Promoting the company's renewable electrical product range which includes solar panels, PV-powered hot water tanks, air-source heat pumps, boiler & heating controls and much more.
- Ensuring the achievement of set branch targets and objectives
- Communicating effectively with different departments within the business
- Advising clients on the best solution available to meet their needs
- Working both independently and within a strong team of salespeople
Rewards
You will receive:
- A starting salary between £30,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
- An uncapped bonus, linked to your performance and that of the branch

Requirements
To be successful in this Internal Sales role, you should:
- Have electrical products or renewable energy solutions knowledge or experience in electrical wholesale, builder's merchant, technical trade, or distribution
- Be a quick learner with great communication skills and the ability to multitask
- Be proactive, energetic, and confident on the telephone
- Have self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
