Your new role

This is a newly created Internal Recruiter to join a streamlined HR Team. The job will be diverse and will need a commercially minded and proactive candidate. As an Internal Recruiter, you will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring talent for my client. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and making job offers.

You will work closely with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs, write job descriptions and adverts, and design the interview processes aligned with best practices. As part of your proactive approach, you will engage in online sourcing to identify and attract active and passive candidates and ensure timely role fulfilment. The focus will be on filling technical roles across the UK, and ultimately, you will undertake activities to help us build a strong employer brand and ensure we provide a positive candidate experience.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job, you will require:

• Proven experience as an internal recruiter, recruitment consultant/agent or similar role
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably 'workable.
• Experienced using various interview formats (telephone, video, structured, panel).
• Proven experience identifying, sourcing and attracting passive and active candidates to fill open positions.
• Experience of technical recruitment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, proactive and results-oriented approach to recruitment.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive candidate experience.
• The ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and external recruiters.
• Confident, professional and positive when working with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• A passion for recruitment and creating a positive employer brand.
• Proven ability to achieve recruitment targets, reducing time to hire and agency spending.

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Develop and apply key soft skills such as networking, professional skills development and presenting to ensure fully-rounded professional development.

• Participate in or observe a variety of administrative, human resources and office support functions to ensure daily operations run efficiently and professionally.

• Assist, support, and partner with management regarding programs and policies in all areas of Human Resources to ensure alignment and support of all HR objectives.

• Draft, process, edit, and distribute a wide variety of information, (presentations, correspondence, reports, procedures, policies, etc.) some of which will be highly confidential and sensitive in nature, to ensure timely and accurate communications.

• Assist with audits, new program rollouts, EEO compliance, etc. to ensure align with the company’s strategic initiatives.

• Schedule and coordinate meetings (including meeting invites, agendas, materials, food/refreshment, meeting minutes), handles travel arrangements and maintains calendar to ensure deadlines are met.

• Comply, understand, and promote corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.

Education

• Currently an undergraduate junior or senior enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university with a related major during the period of the internship.

OR

• A recent college graduate with a related major, such as Human Resources, Business, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related minor is a plus.

Work Experience

• Human Resources and/or Project Management experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field of human resources.
• Excellent consultative and communication skills (written & oral) and ability to interface effectively with all levels of customers (internal and external) and effectively disseminate information.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to properly manage and prioritize resources and projects.
• Sound decision making ability with the experience to balance consensus against authority as appropriate.
• Team player who can operate effectively within a matrix management environment.
• Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure.

Physical Demands
