About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance and Payroll Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in supporting our financial and payroll processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise accurate and timely invoices and follow up on unpaid invoices.
- Preparing weekly payment runs in collaboration with the Finance Team.
- Liaise with external providers for payroll, pension schemes, and employee benefits.
- Accurately process Attachment of Earnings (AoE) Orders.
- Send third-party payment schedules in accordance with payroll.
- Run reports from the Payroll System and provide information to pension providers.
- Assist with the reconciliation of calculations, working with School Business Managers, HR Manager, and payroll provider.
- Process payroll salary journals and recurring financial journals into the finance system.
- Transfer local school income into the central bank account monthly.
- Track monthly checklist returns and update KPIs for review.

Qualifications and Experience:
- GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C) or equivalent.
- AAT Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a finance role within a small to medium-sized organisation.
- Experience with BPS and EduPay software.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial processes.
