South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture SCIO, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Officer. The successful candidate will lead a small team to deliver consistent HR advice and guidance to all managers and employees.
The post-holder will have the ability to translate customer needs and provide coaching and support to all colleagues across the organisation delivering a first-class HR service.

You will have excellent planning and organisational skills together with good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office packages, and the ability to handle multiple systems and data analysis.
Ideally you will have experience of working in a HR department, supporting managers in a wide range of HR activities and be able to demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities
To develop, implement and advise on HR matters, procedures and standards to ensure compliance with best HR practice and to meet corporate and / or business objectives.
Represent SLLC on internal and external working groups.
Lead specific HR projects in line with business objectives and SLLC Strategy working in partnership with Leadership Team, managers, staff and trade unions / contributing to the strategic and operational direction of the HR service across the organisation.
Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR team
