About the role
As a Healthcare Recruiter with us, you’ll ensure we attract and employ colleagues to support the growth of Exemplar Health Care.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

taking the lead role in both the recruitment of Registered Managers and Nurses for both our new and existing homes
responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment journey, from gathering the job description, advertising the role through our job boards and partnering jobs sites/social media, screening and arranging interviews for candidates with the relevant stakeholders, providing interview feedback through to offer, vetting and booking their induction
working closely with the relevant hiring managers, mainly Registered Managers or Regional Directors and be able to report how many vacancies are being worked on, how many interviews arranged to attended, attended to offer, offer to start
utilising our Applicant Tracking System to track your candidate pipeline, record any notes, activities, compliance checks and ensure there is an audit trail of your work so that if you are on leave someone else can pick up and answer any candidate related questions
About you
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the social care/healthcare/nursing recruitment sector - either agency or inhouse.
You will be happy to work Monday-Friday 9-5pm in a hybrid role working some of the time in the office in Rotherham, the rest from home.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be part of a dynamic nursing workforce team in delivering a highly effective service across region.

Leading on work which supports the delivery of a safe sustainable and expanded nursing, midwifery and AHP workforce related to international recruitment within the context of the CNO/CMiDO Strategy and NHS long-term workforce plan.

The successful candidate will be a registered midwife with current clinical labour ward experience or able to demonstrate comprehensive up-to-date clinical skills. The post leads on both the development and the delivery of all aspects of midwifery international recruitment, including the regions flagship NMC intensive midwifery OSCE training programme and other national programmes which support providers in the developing internal maternity OSCE training programmes.



The role offers a significant opportunity to help shape national and regional initiatives and policy, and additionally successful candidate will have experience and detailed understanding of international recruitment and retention initiatives. The post holder will be required to provide proactive project management and leadership support as part of the team to deliver the programme of work with NEY region and with colleagues nationally in other regions.

The successful candidate will have a track record of supporting the delivery of successful programmes of work and change. In addition to working closely with our national and regional teams, the successful candidate will be expected to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including diaspora groups local system and provider organisations.
Working both as a team member and independently you will be innovative and able to balance multiple competing priorities and programmes, able to demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines, have an understanding of project management, governance, risk management, Informatics and communications and engagement.

Salary Progression

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8a with a full-time starting salary of £50,952, with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.

These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
