Job DescriptionNursery Room Leader - Level 3Salary: Up to £25,000Full-Time Hours As a Nursery Room Leader you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children, leading a specific room within the nursery, and ensuring the well-being and holistic development of the children in their care. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their early years' learning journey.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Hold a Level 3 in Early Years or above
- Demonstrable experience working in a nursery setting, with a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its practical application.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team of early years practitioners and support staff effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery.
- Display a nurturing and inclusive approach to working with children, families, and colleagues to create a harmonious and supportive environment.
- Able to effectively prioritize and manage workload, ensuring a balanced focus on providing a nurturing and educational environment for children.

As the Nursery Room Leader, you will: - Lead and effectively manage a designated room within the nursery, taking responsibility for the overall care and education of the children in your care.
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can flourish and reach their full potential.
- Develop and implement a rich variety of age-appropriate activities and experiences that are tailored to support the learning and developmental needs of the children following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Foster strong and collaborative partnerships with parents and families, ensuring open and respectful communication to support the well-being and progress of each child.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to nursery staff, promoting a positive and cohesive team dynamic while upholding high standards of care and education.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of each child's progress and development, in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Work closely with colleagues to uphold a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all children.
