Our client is an established Fund Management Company focusing on private equity growth capital or buyout investments in mid-market companies in the Asia Pacific region and they are currently seeking for a PE Analyst/Investment Associate to join their fast growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and collating reports where necessary
- Able to communicate on a daily basis with the Managing Partners, Managing Directors and other members of the company, as well as the Portfolio Company CEOs, CFOs and Board of Director members, providing business-related analysis and guidance
- Extensive financial modelling, including sensitivity analysis to support potential investment opportunities
- Perform rigorous data analysis and model development using conceptual and quantitative approaches
- Development of pitch books and support in fundraising processes
- Maintain and build relationships with peers as well as clients and third-party vendors
- Liaise with stakeholders and service providers ensure that the requisite information and data is gathered
- Develop and help implement strategies for specific portfolio companies to increase revenue, improve operations, strengthen financial controls and increase shareholder value
- Provide financial evaluation of potential investment opportunities including performing due diligence, liaising with external due diligence advisers or consultants
- Participate in negotiations on behalf of the company for new investments
- Provide ongoing monitoring of assets of the company’s portfolios including review of monthly operating results and maintaining project performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and above
- Minimum relevant work experience of 2 to 3 years ( private equity, investment banking, or accounting firm specialized in corporate advisory is preferred)
- Possesses extensive financial modelling skills and analytical mindset
- Knowledge of business growth strategy and the risk/return characteristics of private equity investment opportunities
- Transaction experience of minimally 2 years on either the buying or selling side will be preferred
- Advanced level in knowledge and usage in Microsoft office products
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- An ability to think critically and objectively
- Have the drive to work toward continuous improvement
- Having the flexibility and willingness to work additional hours when required
