Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for climate action and sustainability within the organization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and enhance climate resilience initiatives and programs.
Lead the identification and exploration of funding opportunities to support climate action projects.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of climate initiatives and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate staff and stakeholders about climate action and sustainability practices.
Advocate for policy changes at local, regional, and national levels that support climate goals.
Prepare and present reports on climate action initiatives to senior management and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Policy, Sustainability, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in climate action, sustainability, or related fields.
Proven track record of strategic planning and project management focused on climate issues.
Strong understanding of climate science, policy frameworks, and sustainable development practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and collaboration across multiple sectors.
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on measurable outcomes.
