Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a public sector client for an Executive Office Administrator to work on a temporary basis.
The post holder will manage the Travel and Events inbox and maintain an up-to-date spreadsheet of bookings and costs.
Book travel, accommodation, events and conferences as requested by staff using the Corporate Travel Management System.
Check staff receive all of their information in a timely manner regarding their booking(s).
Deal promptly with requests for travel, events and accommodation providing a polite and efficient service.
Liaise with external companies as required.
The overarching management support for the Travel and Events Service is provided by the EA & Business Manager to the Chief Executive.
Provide quality administrative support to the EA & Business Manager to the Chief Executive.
Assist with the Chief Executive's diary management as requested by the EA & Business Manager to the Chief Executive.
Dealing with telephone calls including the taking of highly confidential messages accurately and forwarding these quickly and efficiently.
Calls may also be received in regard to complaints, and these must be dealt with in liaison with the Patient Experience Team in a timely manner.
Essential
5 GCSE A*- C or equivalent including English and Maths
Administrative experience in a busy office environment.
Good telephone manner, prioritisation and organisational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and effective team member.
