Main Purpose: To provide skilled high quality care to children and young people with complex medical needs, in the home or community setting. To carry out delegated clinical tasks providing support for children with complexhealth needs and those dependent on technology, following individualised care plans developed by the nursing team, having become competent through an intensive and on-going training program and with support and guidance from registered nurses. Main responsibilities: 1.Work as a member of the Childrens Continuing Care Team (CCCT) providing care shifts to support families of children with complex care needs, carrying out delegated clinical tasks with supervision from CCCT Nurses.2. This role is within the department of Medical Oncology; the appointed candidate will join an existing team of 6 senior medical staff including Consultants & SAS doctors.
