ROLE SUMMARY

The Generative AI Medical Content Lead will drive leadership in AI-based scientific innovations and engagements across medical affairs initiatives. This role works closely across Global Medical Categories, Pfizer Digital, and other cross functional stakeholders to lead+ strategies and initiatives advancing the science of AI across Pfizer’s therapeutic areas: Oncology, Primary Care, Specialty Care, and Vaccines.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive execution of AI strategies and AI-based scientific initiatives across the enterprise in partnership with Medical and cross-functional colleagues
• Ensure teams are learning from successes by leading Community of Practice(s), adapting direction based on failures and reporting AI-related KPIs/metrics to the organization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Sr. Internal Controls Analyst maintains a high level of internal controls for accounting and/or financial operations within the assigned function(s).  The incumbent supports the company with high level compliance, testing, and monitoring in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements.  The Sr. Internal Controls Analyst supports the development and implementation of ongoing SOX audits, financial risk assessments, operational and strategic controls.

ROLE SUMMARY

• The clinician medical monitor may contribute towards providing medical and scientific expertise and oversight for Clinical Trials.

• The clinician medical monitor may be required to design a development strategy for multiple protocols designed to obtain worldwide approval for a compound or group of compounds.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Accountable for safety across the study:

• Provide study team with medical advice for all medical issues during risk assessment and mitigation planning to enable quality, compliance and patient safety at the trial, site and patient level.
• Ensures development of and adherence to the Safety Surveillance Review Plan (SSRP). Consistent with the SSRP, performs and documents regular review of individual subject safety data, and performs review of cumulative safety data with the safety risk lead. As appropriate, the clinician medical monitor may delegate these responsibilities to the study clinician scientist identified in the SSRP. The specific components of safety data review are detailed in the appropriate SOPs and the “Safety Data Review Guide – for Clinicians.”
• Monitor study safety issues and provide input to serious adverse events (SAEs) reports. Provides appropriate medical context in terms of risk factors, medical history and other important medical factors required to put the SAE or AE into appropriate medical context.
• Participates in the Safety Review Team to evaluate medical benefits/risks to support targeted clinical indications.
• Reviews literature as needed to respond to safety questions or those posed by the Safety Review Team, Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) or other individuals or bodies involved with the study.
• Communicates safety information to sites across the study and provides responses to questions on safety.

Protocol design and strategy:

• Contributes towards the medical input during protocol development and updates to the clinical development plan.
• Work closely with other medical monitors to ensure that documents (protocol, Informed Consent Document [ICD], etc.) meet regulatory requirements and company policy and has been reviewed by IRB/IECs.
• Provides medical input into country feasibility.

Support study team

• With supervision of medical monitor (director/Sr director) provides clinical input to protocol/study team for monitoring guidelines, statistics analysis plans, ICDs, clinical review forms, data edit checks, data quality planning, as needed
• Contributes to contract research organization / vendor selection to ensure study is conducted consistent with protocol requirements, clinical plan expectations, and study timelines; this includes ensuring medical/technical requirements for data integrity are applied.
• Works with study team to ensure high quality of data e.g. appropriate patient population, adequacy of clinical assessments as study is ongoing.
• Contributes to medical review and interpretation of efficacy and safety data from clinical trials; this includes delivery of top-line report in collaboration with study statistician, and delivery of clinical study report in collaboration with medical writer and accountable for overall quality and timeliness of analysis and reporting.
• Provides protocol specific training to study team, investigators, clinical research associate, and others.
• Interacts with healthcare professionals at sites during the conduct of the study to enable quality, compliance and patient safety at the trial, site and patient level.
• Interacts with DMCs and steering committees as required.
• Notifies appropriate study team personnel of the need to inform investigators of any changes in research activity and any significant new adverse events.
• Monitor investigator compliance with protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Support study team in issues resolution, study closeout, audit responses, inspection readiness, etc.

• Supports the program team:
• Under supervision (director/Sr director) authors clinical sections of regulatory documents (Investigator Brochure, Annual Reports, Investigational New Drug sections, clinical study report).
• May co-author abstracts, posters, presentations and publications.
• May contribute budget execution of protocols.

Interact with regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, and principal investigators:

• May support Clinical Regulatory Authority interactions accountable for providing responses.
• Liaise with Key Opinion Leaders and Principal Investigators in countries to build a Key Opinion Leaders /Principal Investigators network for new trials.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed by a health authority to prescribe medicines (independent of supervision) for at least one year (post "intern/houseman" year) and has utilized the license to prescribe medicines in a patient care setting for an aggregate duration of at least one year.
• Possesses the ability to critically evaluate medical/scientific information.
• Excellent written an oral communication.
• Understands the design, development, and execution of clinical programs and studies.

The Area Business Manager (ABM) is responsible for motivating, managing and developing a high performing team of sales professionals, driving understanding of relevant policies and guidance and advancing a culture of excellence.  The ABM will be responsible for the supervision and leadership of 9-12 representatives within the area assigned, sales performance of the business portfolio of products, and business knowledge of the area landscape to assess key stakeholders plus future trends within the business marketplace. This position will require regular coaching and observation of Neuroscience Health & Science Professionals and frequent customer contact as well as the development of a strong, effective partnership with marketing and channel colleagues. The  ABM will report to the Regional Business Director.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• The ABM is responsible for supervising operations of the District to include hiring, coaching, representative development, performance management, and manages 9-12 Neuroscience Health and Science Professionals (HSP).
• Ensure full compliance of selling activities for oneself and the team and ensure legal and regulatory compliance requirements
• Possess strong presentation, organization, administrative and communication skills and models a professional and polished impression 
• Ensure colleagues receive development opportunities to maintain engagement and support their career growth
• Develops and implements strategic plans for the District, business plan, and overall responsibility for budgets at district level in alignment with expectations
• Plans, organizes, and monitors performance to achieve the business potential of the District
• Ensuring effective utilization of promotional material,  measuring efficient implementation of the plans in the field
• Proactive data analysis to identify market trends
• Collaborates, identifies, & motivates key account development and opportunities that impact Area/National business
• Build relationships with customers (including KOLs) and key stakeholders (including members of the District and Area Management Teams, Channel Partners, and other cross-functional partners) and utilizes content appropriately for engagement
• Consistently model high knowledge and the ability to engage customers in a clinical conversation
• Understands and champions the value of cross-functional collaboration to deliver on customer needs, while ensuring that compliance guardrails are respected by HSP
• Coaches HSPs on seamlessly connecting cross-functional colleagues to address customer needs utilizing digital tools
• Collaborates, identifies, and partners with Marketing in the development of the key strategies, business imperatives and objectives during the Op Plan process
• Able to expertly operate digital and virtual tools/platforms
• Maintains growth and entrepreneurial mindset
• Works with all members of District to coach and counsel on improvement of performance and skill execution of selling skills, product knowledge, and capabilities needed for successful HSP development

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience with at least 3-5 years spent in a position with demonstrated leadership across Peer and Customer Groups.
• Ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, and deliver on Pfizer business imperatives
• Strong organizational and analytical skills required and ability to analyze and draw appropriate conclusions using sales data/call reporting software/applications
• This position will require travel, including overnight travel, as needed to develop internal and external relationships
• Valid US driver’s license and a driving record in compliance with company standards
• Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

The Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for the promotion of a Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels.  This position will require regular live in field customer engagement in addition to virtual engagements.     
    
The HSP is accountable for launching new products, deciding upon the best strategies to manage business relationships, understanding, and securing formulary access, and engaging in product promotion within the assigned geography. In addition, the HSP is charged with sales efforts and relationship development with customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Staff Electrical Engineer, NxStage Medical, Inc., a Fresenius Medical Care N.A. company, Lawrence, Massachusetts

Will function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on electrical engineering and will be assigned to manage various aspects of products including development, changes, improvements, replacements. Will be involved in every aspect of electrical design, test, and performance for new platforms and improvements and extensions to existing products throughout the product life cycle. Specific duties will include:

• Lead projects in requirement definition, system architecture development, detailed design and analysis, design specs, FMEAs, circuit board bring up/verification, system integration and validation.
• Lead system and board level design including feasibility investigation, circuit design/analysis/simulation, and DFM/DFT/Design for reliability. Responsible for resolving advanced and complex technical problems and making independent technical decisions without any supervision.
• Work as a team leader to manage major technical aspects of several projects, including reporting of project progress, issues and risks to supervisor.
• Lead project team meetings, hardware design reviews and other related technical reviews.
• Lead design documentation such as Design Description, Theory of Operations, Test plans/reports.

Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Electrical Engineering and  7  years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in the medical device industry.  Will also accept a Master’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Electrical Engineering and  5  years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in the medical device industry.  

Must also have 5  years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with either of the primary experience requirements above), working with the following:

• Developing complete and complex technical solutions to a wide range of difficult electrical engineering problems;
• Every aspect of hardware development in the medical device development process, from design concept, through schematic design entry, design analysis, circuit simulation, PCB layout, board bring-up, troubleshooting and release to manufacturing;
• Analog, power, digital, or embedded circuit design including sensors and actuators and schematic and PCB design tools including OrCAD and Allegro;
• Design analysis (component stress, tolerance, timing, signal integrity, etc.);
• Tools used to test and troubleshoot electrical circuit boards including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers;
• Medical device safety and EMC compliance (IEC 60601 and CE) and investigational analysis methods including DFMEA, Design of Experiments; and

This is a hybrid position working 3 days/week in the company’s offices in Lawrence, Massachusetts and 2 days/week at a home office with occasional weeks requiring 5 days/week in the office.
