Job Title: ADHD Nurse Practitioner- Children Services Location: Home Based / Remote Department: Clinical Hours: 40 Hours per week To be confirmed at Interview Job Summary: Clinicians working with ADHD 360 will be part of a dedicated team, committed to patient excellence are expected to deliver treatment with passion, ownership and commitment. As an integral part of our organisation, The ADHD Clinician will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating and monitoring treatment plans. You will possess a strong understanding of evidence-based practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting, providing essential services to individuals seeking support for ADHD. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate children, and young people for ADHD, considering potential co-occurring conditions to inform diagnostic decisions. This will involve being available to offer joint training and supervision and consultation sessions to the Childrens Homes as appropriate To lead on overseeing the attachment pathway within CAMHS, offering highly specialist clinical psychology assessments and interventions as appropriate and overseeing agreed group and individual interventions on this pathway. Experience in and ability to provide at least three of the following highly specialist therapeutic interventions:- Behaviour Therapy Cognitive Behavioural Therapy The use of a systemic approach with families Solution focused interventions Attachment therapy The use of creative art therapies in individual and family work Interventions for post traumatic stress Relaxation and visualisation techniques To devise and facilitate therapeutic and educational groups as part of the treatment approach To exercise full responsibility for communicating on a regular basis with the referral agent and other services and individuals involved with the service user, taking into account guidance on client confidentiality. To provide highly specialist clinical psychology expertise, knowledge, advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals working both within and outside the Health Trust, contributing directly to the formulation of an understanding of a childs / young persons presenting difficulties and the development of an evidence based intervention plan. To contribute to the decision making process as regards treatment options for individuals and their families where appropriate. To undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients and to provide advice to other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management
