The Physicians (MD/DO) in Primary Care (PACT) is accountable for adhering to established policies and standards of care/standards of practice in evaluating, tracking, and following up on patient care. The MD/DO works in collaboration with heath care professionals to provide longitudinal case management of the PCP's entire PACT panel with independent care delivery for acute/same day needs, or when otherwise requested by the PCP.

• Provide independent care delivery for chronic, acute/same day medical needs. The Optometrist is responsible for patient care and education in the Eye Services section of Surgical Service. The majority of the provider's time should be devoted to patient care; teaching and administration when assigned, with the remaining time set aside for academic activities sufficient to maintain his/her "state of the art" proficiency.
