Job purpose

Be supporting role in providing expert nutrition guidance, conducting product training, health talks, and nutritional training programs for our client to improve their knowledge of the company products.   

Duties and responsibilities

Nutritional product training:

• Support assistant manager Nutritionist or Marketing Manager to conduct product training for internal staff (e.g. sales and marketing team and customer service).
• Conduct and implement product training and workshops for organization members and help leaders meet specified performance expectations. Ensure the team is well equipped with product knowledge.
• Assist head of department to develop E-learning modules, product training manuals, digital training materials (e.g. educational cards/ posters, video clips and etc.)

Consumer nutrition education & consultation:

• Provide nutritional consultation and product recommendations to customers according to their health condition and requirements. Offer advice on how to stay healthy and provide support on their progress.

• Handle and provide product-related nutritional health information sharing (through face-to-face sessions, incoming calls, emails, and social media enquiry inbox).

Scientific editorial & communication materials:

• Always keep up-to-date on the market trends in terms of product knowledge and the latest nutritional findings.
• Update health articles and manage product information and health tips content on the company website and social media.
• Support marketing E-newsletter content management in relation to customer health and product information.
• Prepare and develop creative and conceptual ideas on marketing nutrition materials to support the sales team based on training needs, available data and research, which includes product brochures, catalogues, advertorials, detailing kits and necessary material based on monthly needs, events, etc.
• Support marketing in researching literature and scientific reviews in related to active ingredients as compared to competitor brands.

Requirements and skills

Qualifications

• Posses a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-3 years experience in content creation, social media marketing, and digital advertising.

Administrative Management:

• Provides for the overall administrative management of the Mental Health Service.

The Associate Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Quality and Patient Safety (Associate DUSH for QPS) is a direct report to the Deputy Under Secretary for Health (DUSH) and supports the overall work of the Office of the Under Secretary for Health (USH). The Associate DUSH for QPS provides national leadership in the formulation and establishment of effective health care policies, programs, and initiatives that fulfill the VHA's mission to provide personalized, pro-active, high quality, safe, reliable care for Veterans. The Associate DUSH for QPS is responsible for leading VHA on its journey toward becoming a high reliability organization and has oversight of VHA's performance measurement, quality and process improvement, safety, clinical risk management, systems redesign, accreditation, and data analytics and reporting programs. The office manages approximately 400 clinical and administrative professionals in the day-to-day operations of these key programmatic elements. The Associate DUSH for QPS serves in a direct consultative capacity to the Under Secretary for Health, serving as a national subject matter expert in the quality improvement and patient safety QPS directorate. HSR seeks individuals to lead the development, refinement, and implementation of VA health systems research portfolios with a particular focus in the following domains:

3. The Associate Director Education supports the Deputy Director and the Senior Consultant for Operations in overseeing SPP Education and is responsible for coordinating and supporting VHA's National Strategy for Preventing Veteran Suicide and develops national suicide prevention training and education as well as recommends policy, programming and planning actions, and strategic guidance for suicide prevention for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Associate Director Education provides support to the operationalization of the VA's 10-year National Strategy and its four major domains (Healthy & Empowered Communities, Clinical & Community Prevention Services, Treatment & Support Services, Surveillance, Research & Evaluation) through the SP NOW initiative.

The incumbent is responsible for the advancement of the translation of new suicide prevention initiatives into educational resources across the VA system and works closely with the Rocky Mountain MIRECC and VISN 2 CoE for Suicide Prevention in the translation process. The Associate Director Education is responsible for ensuring national rollout of initiatives are in alignment with implementation science principles and include interface with a wide range of clinical and administrative offices within VHA. These initiatives embody the mission to make "suicide prevention everyone's business" by co-leading the integration of suicide prevention into the broad VHA health care continuum.

The Associate Director Education will provide primary leadership to the Education team within the SPP office, leading the national suicide prevention education and training program as well as development of a policy and legislative agenda. The work directed is, administrative, technical, and complex. The incumbent adheres to local and national VA policies, often consulting with peers on professional and technical matters. The incumbent assists the Senior Consultant of Operations with complex reviews of effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of suicide prevention office efforts and develops detailed plans, goals, and objectives for the long-range implementation and administration of the program, which has wide ranging impact on other VA and national level programming.

The incumbent uses critical decision-making skills to prioritize difficult needs and solve problems quickly, logically, and accurately.
