The post holder will be a registered Nurse with a focus on community immunisation and health protection support. The individual will work as part of a dynamic team, providing a safe and effective service which will include community vaccinations, testing and health protection support across Cardiff and Vale. Are you a registered Psychiatric Doctor looking for a new challenge where you can put your in-depth mental health training to use every day? Medacs Healthcare is looking for medical professionals who are passionate about, and experienced in, the science of psychiatry.

Working flexible shifts at Reduce & Replace, you will diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of mental health, behavioural and emotional disorders in the role of Psychiatric Doctor.

The setting in which you are based will be wide-ranging too. As a Psychiatric Doctor you may be based in either inpatients or outpatients at Reduce & Replace, or rehabilitation environments. You may need to visit your patients in residential care, prisons, schools, or in their own homes.

The work of a Psychiatrist is always engaging and challenging, sometimes moving, occasionally frustrating but often rewarding, sometimes when this is least expected. You will frequently liaise with and learn from highly experienced colleagues in other medical fields such as general medicine, radiology, or neurology and with non-medical
colleagues including psychologists and social workers. There is always someone on hand to turn to for advice, or to chat to.
