Key role and responsibilities for Non Medical Prescriber;

• Provide Clinical Service to Alcohol and Drug Users including evidence based non-medical prescribing service
• Provide Tailored Treatment Interventions
• Undertaking Community Detoxification, Medications Titrations, Stabilisation Programmes and Relapse Prevention Plans

Minimum requirements for a Non Medical Prescriber;

• Nurse Qualification - RGN, RMN or RNLD with UK Registration
• V300 Qualification or equivalent
• Awareness of health issues relating to Substance Misuse

Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, part of the Active Care Group, is a modern independent hospital providing an inpatient Level 1 intensive brain injury rehabilitation service (29 NHS England funded beds) for the South West of England and a further 23 slower-stream neuro-rehabilitation beds (Level 2). We want our nurses to make a real difference to patients in our Burns and Plastics Surgery team. Here are some of the reasons why our team is unique:

Our department is a busy 28 bedded Burns and Plastic Surgery ward, with 20 en-suite rooms and 2 four bedded bays along with an Adult Burns Clinic run on the ward. Your day will include:
• Working with patients who have undergone emergency or elective reconstructive surgery for trauma related injuries, cancer, burns and other minor/major injuries
• Being responsible for coordinating and providing complete care to allocated patients and work as part of the team
• Participating in or carrying out small to complex dressing changes in wound management
• Working closely with members of the multidisciplinary team, including Therapists and Psychologists, Doctors, and speciality Nurses
• Being actively involved in your own development and supporting junior members of the team in their development
• Supporting our patients and their families on their journey during their stay

Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

Role and Responsibilities


Visiting retailers and using detailed planograms to update the stand (attention to detail)
Moving and installing new parts around and resequencing stock according to a new planogram

A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor, to join their team based predominantly in their head office, whilst regularly providing support to their site teams across the country. You will be an experienced Health & Safety Advisor with a proven track record working within a reputable main contractor within the construction/ civil engineering industry and the ability to assist with schemes of a similar complexity and value. Key attributes include desirably you will be chartered IOSH and relevant NEBOSH qualification and preferably a degree in civil engineering and include excellent communication skills, determination and drive and relevant best practice knowledge.

What is the role we are looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Health & Safety Advisor to provide vital hands-on support and help build upon the success of the existing Health and Safety Department.
Working alongside a team of H&S Advisors you will be responsible for providing professional and comprehensive H&S advice whilst ensuring compliance with current legislation and Company Policy. This role covers branches throughout the South of England and encompasses the South West and the South East up to Northamptonshire. This will be a remote position with regular on site visits meaning there will be extensive travel and overnight stays required.
The support you will offer will include carrying out H&S audits to ensure branches are compliant and proposing changes where required, undertaking risk assessments and coordinating surveys, advising on a variety of H&S issues including Moving and handling, fire safety, DSE, control of substances hazardous to health and management of asbestos. Another key part of the role is ensuring checklists and reports are fit for purpose by carrying out investigations into incidents and reporting back to the relevant teams.
You will be an excellent communicator all levels, always maintaining a people centred approach with the ability to build effective relationships and quickly establish your knowledge and credibility in this role. You will be fully versed in H&S legislation and have a NEBOSH and British Safety Council Diploma. You will be confident in influencing and advising stakeholders at varying levels.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a H&S Advisor role. You will also have previous experience in carrying out Health & Safety risk assessments in a retail environment as well as conducting incident and accident investigations.

The post holder is an experienced nurse, who is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care to the practice population using autonomous clinical skills and a broad in depth theoretical knowledge base. The post holder will manage a diverse clinical case load, dealing with the presenting patients needs within a primary care setting. They will contribute to developing the nursing services offered by the practice. The practice nurse works independently and contributes to audit, research and supporting, implementing and evaluating local standards, policies, guidelines and care pathways. Help the practice develop and deliver specialist primary nurse led services, including chronic disease management (including for all areas of QOF). Maintains disease registers in liaison with administrative staff. Undertakes annual reviews of patients understanding and ability to self manage. Make appropriate referrals to other members of the primary, community and secondary care teams. Promote health and well being, giving general education advice on diet, contraception, smoking chronic disease management, exercise etc... Contribute to the practice achieving its GMS contract obligations including quality, organisational and access targets. Maintain accurate records according to NMC rules. Ensure all data protection requirements are met when gathering, recording and storing patient data. Liaise and maintain good working relationships with all members of the practice team. Work within the multi-disciplinary team within the practice and across the wider health system.
