We are looking to recruit a new post for a Health and Safety Assistant to support the health and safety function within the property department. This is a role with potential for personal growth and development within the organisation, with close interaction with the Property Team, Health and Safety Officer and the Service teams managing the properties.

This new post within HARP’s Property Team, with a focus on supporting the Health & Safety Officer in ensuring that HARP’s properties are compliant. The main duties will involve carrying out scheduled property inspections to HARPs portfolio including various testing and reporting. Keeping accurate records and assisting the organisation in its responsibility to keep its buildings, equipment and facilities in good order and compliant with the latest regulations.


· Ideally suited to a methodical person with an eye for detail, and the ability to record and report findings

· A background in general building maintenance

• To have completed GDC highly recommended Continuing Professional Development (CPD) including medical emergencies, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, disinfection and decontamination, radiography and radiation protection.

We are looking to recruit suitably qualified doctors to work across specialties, ranging from a single shift to an extended post; with evening, weekend and on-call shifts available (depending on shift availability).

As this is Bank work, it is on an ‘as and when’ basis with no guaranteed hours
• To liaise between nurses, other clinicians, patients, relatives in order to support safe care
• To attend and participate in board rounds, ward rounds and other related daily activities
• To provide appropriate workplace supervision to other staff as and when needed as requested
