East Sussex Healthcare Trust has exciting opportunities for Registered Staff Nurses on our Discharge Lounge based in Conquest Hospital, and we are looking for highly motivated, dynamic and passionate individuals.
The Discharge Lounge is a friendly place to work and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are passionate about looking after their patients in a caring and dignified manner in a quiet and calming environment prior to discharge. We would love nurses that are equally as passionate to join our team.
We encourage nurses from all areas of the healthcare industry to become part of our team. The Matron would welcome the opportunity to meet with any potential applicants prior to making an application so that she is able to show you what the lounge has to offer in terms of development.
The successful applicant will be expected to function effectively under pressure without compromising basic standards of care and professionalismwe are developing changes in the discharge for our patients. Can you be flexible and work autonomously alongside junior staff? Would you like to join our small friendly developing team, we would welcome the opportunity to meet with you.
You willsupport ward staff and their multi professional teams in facilitating effective patient discharge as an integral part of care management within the Trust. You will ensure best evidence based practice in planning safe and timely discharge,
The successful candidate must be able to work all shift patterns that are required for this role, currently 07.00-19.30hrs Monday to Saturday.
