• The incumbent has full administrative and managerial responsibilities for planning, staffing, budgeting, developing, and effectively managing the total Engineering Program.

• The Chief of Surgical Services is responsible for the overall operation and supervision of the Surgical Service, including resident education, Medical Staff Leadership, quality improvement, maintenance of reusable medical equipment, and the provision of excellent Inpatient and Outpatient care.
• Administratively, he/she is responsible for making long-range plans for the continuing function and development of the surgical service and for the development of sound and carefully documented organizational plans and budgetary proposals for presentation to top management. [What the role is]

As the Executive Manager/ Assistant Director for the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Division, you will be part of the team to galvanise NEA in building a strong WSH culture, and to achieve and sustain an effective WSH management system. As a WSH champion, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining corporate-wide WSH policies, manuals and frameworks in compliance to the WSH Act and its subsidiary regulations. Key responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, maintain and review the corporate-level WSH policy, management system and governance for NEA.

A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management
10 ? 15 years industry experience working on major health projects

We are looking for an experienced pharmacist with proven leadership and management skills to support the chief pharmacist with effective operational management and oversight of medicines optimisation services and medicines safety initiatives, and inspiring leadership and management of the continually expanding pharmacy team. The SystmOne EPMA/EPS system has now been fully implemented across all hospital units, so experience of using this system would be advantageous. The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated and able to work on their own, whilst also integrating into a well-established team. You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills together with a good working knowledge of hospital pharmacy. Knowledge of pharmacy PCN services would also be advantageous. The successful candidate must have significant clinical and training experience, be passionate about patient safety and quality, as well as having proven leadership ability and vision. Experience of implementing Medicines Optimisation or Medicines Safety projects will be ideal. You will need to have a combination of at least five years post registration experience and a clinical diploma or similar experience. You will also need a great deal of self-motivation, sound clinical knowledge and computer literacy. The role will also be supported by a full training package, according to needs. The role is part-time (30 hours per week), with some flexibility as to how the hours are worked over the course of the week. Remote working may be possible for some aspects of the role, however flexibility and a commitment to working on site when required is essential. Additional commitment to work weekends, late shifts, and bank holidays is not currently required, as pharmacy dispensing services are provided by local acute hospital trusts. Participation in the on-call advisory service on a rota basis will however be required (service is provided daily until 8pm). In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a maximum payment of £1,915 per annum pro rata.
