The post holder will lead on the review, design, programme management and commissioning of children and young peoples mental health services to ensure that Gloucestershires population experience seamless pathways of care and quality services that improve outcomes. The post holder will lead on programme managing the overall childrens mental health programme and lead on delivering major programmes of work and elements of programmes as directed by the Deputy Director of Integrated Commissioning. Currently major areas of work include: Children and Young Peoples Mental Health CAMHS Transformation programme including waiting list initiatives and recovery planning. The roll out and expansion of the Young Minds Matter service/Mental Health Support Teams. Lead elements of work relating to how children and young peoples mental health services interface with other areas of provision e.g. primary care, education and inclusion and acute care. Oversee the social prescribing and creative health provision for children and young people in relation to mental health support. Oversee Perinatal and Infant Mental Health services including developing a Parent Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS) These plans will be delivered in the context of national guidance, local engagement and needs and the overarching organisational strategy and will use the ICB transformation approach to support delivery. The post holder will work closely with Integrated Care System partners such as ICB GP members, social care colleagues, clinicians across the health community, and staff from other organisations.
