Sugarman Health & Wellbeing are currently recruiting a Support Worker based in Doncaster supporting a male in his own home with autism, schizophrenia and challenging behaviours. Our client has a keen interest in video games and loves listening to dance music. He is supported on a 4:1 basis and enjoys accessing the community regularly and going for long drives.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and resilient, not avoiding a challenge but embracing it and supporting the service user to their best ability. You would become an essential part of his existing care team in this fulfilling and exciting role. This is a challenging yet exciting opportunity.
**We can offer you a Bonus Incentive of £250 if you are ready to work with us within 14 days from interview**
About the Support Worker role:
Hourly Rate: £13 per hour (Enhanced hourly rate on all Bank Holidays)
Location: Doncaster
Shifts Available: Days 0700-1900 & Nights 1900-0700
Speciality: Mental Health and Autism

All training will be provided free of charge to ensure you have the correct skills and knowledge to support the service user's needs. This is an amazing opportunity to learn new skills and progress in your health and social care career.
Duties for this Support Worker role:
Supporting to maximise his independence
Community support: Going into town, the park and visiting his favourite bakery
Interaction with indoor activities such as playing video games
Promote life skills such as cooking, washing and maintaining his home.
Applicant requirements:
Able to attend The Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA) training which is provided by Sugarman Health and Wellbeing
The enthusiasm to learn and experience new things
To be willing to embrace the goals he wants to achieve
Someone who will go above and beyond for the Service User and staff involved in the package
Able to work in the UK and can show documents
