Promote and maintain a safe and comfortable environment with a pleasant and receptive environment for patients and their families. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate child/family centred care with consideration of individual ethnic, cultural, social, developmental and religious needs. Coordinate discharge planning, assessing patient and family needs on admission, document appropriate information and liaising with appropriate personnel as required.
