• You will be helping service userswho'veoften endured a lifetime of adversity – abuse, deprivation, and trauma. These individuals grapple with extreme challenges in their relationships, battling issues like emotion management, identity disturbance, impulsiveness, and self-injury.
• You'llbe their guiding light, providing assessment, formulation, and therapeutic intervention based on the latest evidence and ourcutting-edgeservice model.
• You will beinvolved inthe provision of assessment, formulation & therapeutic intervention to clients referred to the service in line with the most recent evidence and service model.
• You willwork in collaboration with other psychological therapists to deliver specialist psychological interventions to people with Personality Disorders. This will include working individually and in groups.
• You’llbe based in IMPACTTatErleghHouse in Readingand deliver care ina number ofpremises across Berkshire asrequired.

The “must haves” for this role:
For Band 7 Applicants:
1. Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology OR post-graduate qualification in adult psychotherapy.
1. Registered and accredited with Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) for psychologists or UKCP for psychotherapists.
1. Demonstrable experience of working in mental health services and experience of and interest in working with service users with personality disorders.
For Band 6 Applicants:
1. Qualification in one of the following at graduate level: mental health nursing, social work, occupational therapy
1. Registered and accredited with Nursing and Midwifery Council or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent as relevant to graduate qualification.
1. Demonstrable experience of working in mental health services and experience of and interest in working with service users with personality disorders.
