FHI 360 has an exciting internship opportunity for a student interested in growing their skills within the international development sector. Under close supervision, an Intern will perform entry level professional duties which will provide the opportunity for professional training in various functional areas throughout the organization. Internship assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to a global nonprofit development organization.
The intern will be part of the integration team and will be involved in setting up data integration processes, from intake to production deployment. They will get insights into the different approaches and techniques involved and will help the team with documenting and testing certain design elements.
This is a paid internship with a flexible schedule based on project needs.
Anticipated Duration: May - August 2024
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour – Undergraduates
Location: Remote, United States (strong preference given to candidates residing in the Eastern time zone)

Anticipated Project(s) and Assignment Details:
The intern may contribute to various team or project activities under the direction of their supervisor in the following ways:
- Contribute to integration projects activities as assigned by supervisor.
- Conduct data QA and analysis.
- Track projects progress and document decision points and integration design elements.
- Organize and participate in team meetings (e.g., assisting with meeting preparation, meeting minutes, a post-meeting report)
- Support integration solutions development efforts, including documenting processes and procedures.
- Contribute to project-related presentations and reports if needed.
- Assist with project-related administrative tasks, as needed.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program at a college or university in a related field of study or within one year of graduation date: Computer Science, or Information Technology
- Demonstrated interest in related subject area through studies, work experience, and/or personal travel
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas. Open to learn new tools and technologies
- Strong writing, analytical and research skills
- Articulate, professional, and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English; effective communication abilities both written and verbal

- Remote office environment
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; ability to lift to 5 lbs.
