Our endoscopy unit performs diagnostic and therapeutic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy. It is a busy unit that carries out 3000 gastroscopies and 1800 Colonoscopies every year. ERCP is now based at the Royal London Hospital site. We have a reputation for providing excellent endoscopic training and this post is highly sought after by gastroenterology trainees on the NCEL training program. The successful candidate would be expected to participate in the out of hours’ endoscopy and general medical on call rota and training of junior staff.
