Job Summary
You will be part of the Marketing and Communications team to support the realization of the Business Unit marketing for Thomson Medical and support communications and publicity initiatives as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assigned marketing & communications projects.
- Employ the full spectrum of marketing activities (Digital & Traditional).
- Support the organisation with day to day copywriting, editing, design, social media planning/execution duties.
- Assist in public relations activities and projects (inclusive of but not limited to developing press releases and media materials, facilitating media interviews, pitch for media coverage).
- Support all corporate and BUs events, including ad-hoc projects where required.
- Support all other ad-hoc Group communications and marketing initiatives.
- Perform any other duties, which may be necessary from time to time.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree or equivalent, preferably in Communications or Marketing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, results-driven and ability to multi-task.
- Display ability to propose, track and analyze engagement metrics to measure the success of community initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Display knowledge on industry trends and best practices in community engagement and apply them to the assigned duties and activities.
- Familiar with digital marketing tools and/or techniques and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or alternate software like GIMP, Inkscape, Scribus is a plus.
- Experienced in marketing or PR agencies, tech companies or other public organizations is a plus.
- Preferably be able to commit to a full-time internship of 4 months (from Oct/Nov 2024).
