Key Result Areas 1) To provide effective management of the service under direction of Senior Production staff as follows: a) To provide a first point of contact for service users including clinical teams, outpatient clinics and ward staff. b) To liaise with service users and providers and deliver effective communication. c) To assist in co-ordinating the day-to-day workload by receiving and processing orders and communicating with the multi-disciplinary pharmacy team. d) To ensure accurate stock levels of medicinal products are maintained by performing routine stock takes, completing orders and ensuring stock rotation throughout the process. e) To manage the ordering and maintenance of outsourced stock and patient specific aseptic products in liaison with the Pharmacy Procurement Team. f) Manage data input and assist in the development of the Pharmacy Capacity Plan to monitor the staffing and equipment capacity of the department. g) To participate in the training of all staff new to the aseptic unit. 2. To undertake a range of administrative duties to support the department. a) To print prescriptions and maintain workload diaries using Chemocare Electronic Prescribing system b) To manage stock of sundries and consumable items using Agresso system. c) To operate and develop administrative systems, to ensure appropriate filing and archiving of documents. d) To undertake data entry on the JAC pharmacy computer system. e) To manage staffing levels through the use of Healthroster f) To support the operation of meetings within the Production Unit. g) To comply with departmental error and deviation management procedures at all times. h) To perform general reception duties and query resolution duties. i) To support the Production Manager in a range of other administrative duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Production Unit. Pharmacy Services Manage the distribution of departmental correspondence. Ensure that Trust policies/procedures and department records are kept up to date including staff lists, essential training records etc. To co-ordinate the recruitment of new staff including advertising, organisation of interviews, reference requests, employment checks and the ordering of new uniforms etc. To manage departmental personnel files, co-ordinating hospital/departmental induction for new staff and terminations for leavers. To maintain records relating to annual leave, sickness absence, staff appraisal and mandatory training, ensuring that department targets are met. To maintain accurate records on the hospital e-rostering system, liaising with the e-rostering team when required. To co-ordinate the arrangement of formal sickness absence reviews, maintaining appropriate records. To undertake the ordering of sundry items via the Unit4 ordering system including renewal of subscriptions etc. To liaise with the hospital estates department regarding departmental maintenance matters. Medicines Management Services Provide secretarial support and minute taking to the Trust Drug and Therapeutics Committee Thrombosis Subgroup and other pharmacy meetings as required. Support the clinical pharmacy team in the preparation of documents, reports, presentations etc. Co-ordinate meetings, catering, room bookings etc., as requested by the Chief Pharmacist and Head of Medicines Management or other staff as required. Maintain equipment and materials including departmental stationery, computer sundries etc

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide leadership to our Stroke and Neurology OT service. The post holder will lead and deliver occupational therapy services alongside a dedicated team of OT staff, working on the hyper acute/acute/ rehabilitation stroke unit, and early supported discharge service. Early supported discharge operates as an outreach service from the stroke unit, enabling patients to continue therapy at home following discharge. The team is committed to delivering high standards of care working closely with the multidisciplinary team across the whole patient pathway.



We are seeking applicants with significant experience at a senior level, and who demonstrate specialist skills in Stroke/Neurology and rehabilitation. The post holder should also have a keen interest in positive leadership, operational management and service innovation, and have a passion for providing acute discharge planning alongside rehabilitation for people with neurological conditions.

Our department is committed to supporting and developing staff through appraisals and the supervision process.We provide clinical placements for students from Sheffield and Derby Universities, and we have a dedicated practice learning facilitator. You will be asked to help support students within the department.

We are commissioned to provide a seven day services so flexibility to work weekends will be required.

To provide intensive specialist mental health assessment and treatment for young people and their families, carers referred to the CAMHS eating disorder service with severe eating disorders and clinical complexity, in accordance with national and local priorities, clinical guidelines and responsive to the needs and views of local children, young people and their families.

To provide a time flexible service between the hours of 8am and 8pm.

To work as an integral part of the team in both clinical discussion and service delivery, and in the implementation and evaluation of specific care plans.

To assess young people who present with complex eating and associated disorders to enable early community interventions, and interventions to ensure timely and safe discharge for inpatients.
To interpret risk and need, and implement appropriate interventions ie: embarking on a treatment programme whilst assessing and managing risk, ensuring advanced initiatives for clients with eating disorders are aimed at standardising practices within CAMHS, promoting good practice and NICE guidance compliance.
To manage a case load of client with severe eating disorders and demonstrate skills in dealing with complex issues to generate appropriate strategies for caseload management.
To organise own workload with the support and supervision of the team lead /Consultant Psychiatrist, and in liaison with other team members.
To provide clinical supervision to other staff and trainees in the team in relation to eating disorders. Offer support and peer guidance to fellow team members and wider CAMHS clinical staff as and when required to do so.
To interpret, formulate and implement care plans for formal psychological treatment and management of clients with complex eating disorders, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework, and employing methods based upon evidence of proven efficacy and using an integration of theoretical frameworks to formulate practice.
