Major Duties include but not limited to:
- Directs and organizes patient flow in assigned area
- Maintains unit schedule
- Grants leave for staff
- Coordinates the provision of care
- Assists staff to fulfill performance expectations
- Leads interdisciplinary problem solving at the area and /or program level
- Mentors less experienced nurses, other RNs in expanded roles, and/or students
- Ensures that, within the scope of duties, confidential information is at all times safeguarded.
