Currently dispensing around 7,000 items per month, this is a steady branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and adherence to regulatory standards
• Oversee a dedicated team of pharmacy staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
• Provide immunization services (where applicable)
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives

What We Require

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting with management experience preferred

INDPHA

The NM will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing. Board certification in OR nursing from a VA-approved certifying body is expected within the first two years of position assumption. NM is the designated first-line supervisory authority on the unit. Is responsible and accountable for the 24/7 operations of the unit, ensuring that subordinate personnel provide timely nursing care that complies with generally accepted standards of clinical practice. As management and leadership skills grow, the NM has the authority to accept, amend, or reject the work of subordinates and has continuing and progressive responsibility for the following functions:

• Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work;
• Assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of difficulty, and the requirements of the assignments as well as the capabilities of the subordinates.
• Evaluating the performance of subordinates.
• Making recommendations for appointments, advancements, or reassignments of subordinates;
• Giving advice, counsel, or instruction to subordinate personnel on work and administrative matters.
• Hearing and resolving complaints and seeking assistance or referring more serious complaints not resolved to higher-level supervisors.
• Recommending and/or taking disciplinary action where appropriate.
• Identifying the developmental and training needs of subordinates and providing or making provision for such development and training (VA Handbook 5007, Part III, Chapter 8).
• Other duties as assigned.

The Nurse Manager (NM) is the designated first-line supervisory authority and is responsible and accountable for the operation of their assigned units and provides coverage for other NMs as needed. The NM is responsible and accountable for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and evaluation of individual staff performance. They function as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing leadership to the team. • Demonstrates positive, effective communication skills, professional behaviors and leadership that promotes a commitment to excellence, improving nursing practice, and fostering collaboration among customers beyond the immediate practice setting.

Our client is a large distribution company who is experiencing real growth in the marketplace and is looking for the services of an enthusiastic Health & Safety Advisor based in the outskirts of Glasgow. You will have experience to motivate and leading the company's existing employees to ensure they understand the importance of H&S culture and be motivated to carry out safe practices.

The successful candidate will identify, coordinate and drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity, working closely with the Operational Management teams - and will work closely under the guidance of the Head of Safety for the business. You will be educated to a minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate with a couple of years' experience OR have a few years' experience and looking to complete your NEBOSH Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor compliance of company policy and procedures
· Investigate accidents / incidents thoroughly and report on findings
· Conduct root cause analysis and identify remedial actions
· Generating and reviewing Risk Assessment & Systems of Work
· Collate statistical information
· Take the lead in small-scale projects
· Manage contractors (approvals, authorisation & permits)
· Participate in delivery of induction materials
· Work alongside an already established supervisory team
· Basic facilities management
· Liaise with Group Health & Safety Manager as required

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skill set:

· NEBOSH General Certificate or similar preferred
· IOSH membership preferred
· Full driving licence
· Proven track record in an advisory capacity
· Experience in Construction, O&G, Manufacturing or other high-risk environments would be a benefit - but not essential.
· Ability to work under pressure
· Good time management skills
· Good communication skills at all levels
· Good computing skills with the ability to produce quality reports
