Requirements for the Deputy Nurse Manager role: - You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN /RNLD
- Active NMC PIN
- Clear DBS.
- Good working knowledge of CQC regulations
- Proven track record of leading a Nursing team and delivery of person-centred care, including care planning

The role of a Deputy Nurse Manager within the Nursing Home involves: - Being responsible for the management of the nursing services in liaison with the Home Manager
- Promoting and maintaining high standard of nursing care
- Ensuring effective induction of new nursing staff and providing ongoing clinical supervision of trained staff
- Woking within the NMC and CQC standards, alongside internal policies and procedures
- Planning, directing and delivering high quality person-centre care through care planning process
- Overseeing all aspects of medicine management ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
- Undertaking staff reviews through supervision, appraisals and team meetings
- Taking an active role in training the team of nurses to ensure staff are kept up to date with current practices and good practice developments
- Maintaining accurate and relevant documentation and reports to reflect practice and planned development
- Deputising in the absence of the Home Manager
