Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist mental health support to women during pregnancy and postnatal periods.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and offer therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including midwives and health visitors.
• Travel between various settings to deliver care (must be a car driver).
• Ensure adherence to NHS guidelines and safeguarding protocols.

Essential Requirements:

• Valid NMC registration.
• Experience in perinatal mental health nursing.

• The Role: As the Nurse in charge, you will be responsible for the delivery of all clinical elements of the care provision, supervising others and setting/maintaining clinical standards within the home. Working under the guidance and direction of the Clinical Lead, you will have a strong clinical focus, playing an active role in ensuring that the medication/nursing needs of each resident are delivered effectively. Supporting the home with the expected clinical/nursing standards, promoting a high level of individualised care, ensuring all statutory and regulatory standards are maintained.
• Monitor standards of care, ensuring all staff on your shift contribute to the best of their ability.
• Ensure resident needs are being met by interaction and observation on each shift
• Report and incidents/accidents, areas of concern to the Home Manager & Clinical Lead
• Shift times are predominantly 07.00 - 19.00 (days) or 19.00 - 07.00 (nights).

Person Specification

The successful applicant must have:

• GCSEs in certain subjects are preferred, such as Maths, English, or Health and Social care
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Mental Health Nurse.
• Previous experience in community setting
• Fully enhanced DBS
• Car driver and valid UK license is preferred

Neurology Specialist Nurse
Opportunity available for a Neurology Specialist Nurse to work within a Neurology, Based near Worcester

The team sits within the community hospital with the role predominately provide a nursing service to patients on discharge from hospital, including medication reviews, secondary prevention education, information and advice. You will receive excellent support from the wider team which comprises Neuro therapists. As part of this role you will have clinical responsibility for the care and management of patients and work closely with family and carers. You will also support the specialist nursing team to provide support and reviews. You may see patients in their own homes, in our outpatient clinic and/or at other appropriate settings to facilitate rehabilitation. You will be part of a dynamic MDT consisting of Specialist Therapists and Nursing. You will participate in delivering education and be involved in reviewing medication for patients at home and following hospital discharge. Continuing personal development is encouraged through training opportunities and an established supervision and appraisal structure.
