We have a new opportunity for a Band 5 Community nurse to join an NHS community team based in Luton.

You will be working as part of a community nursing team covering hours between 08:00 - 20:00, 7 days per week. Long or short days are available. You will be covering patient care for conditions such as diabetes, administering medication, catheterisation, palliative care, compression bandaging, wound management and pressure ulcer care.

To be considered for this role, you must have NMC registration and be a qualified registered General Nurse.

Duties will include:

Catheter care
Palliative care/symptom control
Verification of expected death
Falls support
Holistic assessment
Urgent wound care
Medication administration

Opportunity available for a Registered General Nurse to work within the Community, Based in Bedfordshire

The team sits within Community Team with the role predominantly completing full holistic assessment. You will be covering Luton and Bedfordshire GP. As part of this role you will be expected to plan, organise and prioritise own patient caseload and case manage patients and have the ability to recognise the need to refer to other disciplines and agencies where appropriate. You will also be ensuring that patients access prompt and appropriate assessment and treatment and ensure that patient documentation is in line with Trust and professional standards. As part of this role you must be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of own work including the management of a caseload.

This role is to commence ASAP with the role being full time on a 37.5 hour contract, working Monday to Friday.

The hourly rate of pay for this role is: £21.00 Per Hour

Registered General Nurse, Band 5 - Bedfordshire

Opportunity available for a Registered General Nurse to work within the Bedfordshire Community Continence Team, Based in Bedfordshire

The team sits within Queensborough House with the role predominantly completing full holistic assessment and continence assessment including ordering continence product and preforming bladder scanning alongside assessment. You will be covering Luton and Bedfordshire GP. As part of this role you will be expected to plan, organise and prioritise own patient caseload and case manage patients and have the ability to recognise the need to refer to other disciplines and agencies where appropriate. You will also be ensuring that patients access prompt and appropriate assessment and treatment and ensure that patient documentation is in line with Trust and professional standards. As part of this role you must be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of own work including the management of a caseload.

Registered General Nurse

Service Care Solutions are working with a private medical provider to fill a position for a Registered General Nurse in their Ophthalmic sector. This position is a full time permanent role working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing a high standard of care to their patients.

Key role and responsibilities for a Registered General Nurse

• Responsible for participating in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Service including surgery, pre operative assessment and post-operative care.
• Responsible for all care for patients including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
• Responsible for Admission and discharge of patients on theatre day
• Administering drugs in accordance to the NMC guidelines
• Prepare all areas prior to any clinical activities including checking equipment is ready for use
• Assisting with stock control ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available

Minimum requirements for a Registered General Nurse

• Experience within the private healthcare sector
• Minimum of 1 years post registration experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Current NMC registration
