To be the responsible lead pharmacist for clinical trials at the Trust providing management, support and advice as appropriate. To develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure pharmacy meets the required GCP standards for clinical trials To manage clinical trials staff and assist with the supervision and training of pharmacists and technicians To provide professional leadership, advice and support To work as an advanced clinical pharmacist in a defined area of practice To support peers in developing research and innovation ideas The purpose of the job is to lead on and be responsible for all aspects of the provision of Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) use in Medway NHS Foundation Trust, ensuring that all regulatory, legislative and best practice recommendations are implemented and followed. They will devise and implement a strategic plan for the development of the pharmacy clinical trials service, also being responsible for budget management and expansion of the service.
