This is a Term appointments not to exceed 4 years and does not confer eligibility for conversion to a permanent employment.
As a Safety and Occupational Health Specialist, you will:
- Evaluate contractor's safety and health programs through management appraisals, surveillance activities, technical assessments, and compliance inspections as required.
- Identify and assess high-risk activities of an organization construction projects.
- Ensure the review of construction activities for safety, health, and fire protection regulation compliance prior to award.
- Develop and coordinate safety oversight implementation of construction activities to support line management through the transfer of pertinent information, guidance, technical expertise and assistance, and program evaluation.
