JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide assistance to Dental surgeon during treatment for example, handling relevant equipment and instrument, assisting in retraction and suction
- Provide the Dental Surgeon with the correct instruments and equipment
- Prepare relevant equipment and dental materials for every patient
- Sanitise and prep dental chairs for every patient
- Greet and guide patients to their treatment room
- Offer reassurance and support to patients
- To arrange appointments for follow up patient together with Dental Surgeon
- Practice health and safety protocols as well as infection control to the highest standard
- Ensure all dental instruments are correctly decontaminated
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of premise
- Monitor stock levels for materials and sundries and liaise with Lead Nurse for ordering
- Must be able to handle and operate medical equipment with care (training will be provided)
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS :
- Minimum qualification – SPM/ O’Levels
- Work experience – Not required as Training will be provided
- Command good communication and writing skills with minimum preference of
- English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin would be an added advantage
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Be a team player
- Able to work Public Holidays
- Good organisational skills
