ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will (but not limited to)
Developing, implementing and reviewing environmental health management plans and occupational health and safety plans
Develop, deliver and present EHS related findings and issues to the Management
Provide leadership and vision to manage the EHS responsibilities in the best interest of its shareholders and other stakeholders
Develop and establish the organisational EHS management plan
Ensure all safety related processes, procedures and initiatives are consistent and streamlined across the organisation
Identifying hazards, assessing and controlling risks in the workplace
Developing, implementing and monitoring programs minimising workplace and environmental pollution involving chemical and physical hazards
Inspecting and auditing workplaces, processes, plant, and chemical and physical hazards for legislative compliance
Training employees in personal protective equipment and safe working procedures
Recording and investigating injuries and equipment damage, and reporting safety performance
Coordinating the return of injured workers into the workplace
You are the right person for this role, if you have
Relevant Trade Qualifications
Years of well-developed knowledge and experience of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
An above-average drawing interpretation ability, desirable
A high level of focus is a must for this role
An excellent memory and a fast learner
Strong communications and reporting skills
Strong leadership, people management skills and the personality to be part of the team
Confident takeoff ability to procure items
Strong MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD or Solidworks, MS Project, desirable
Salary: $90,000 + Super
