Duties include:

The delivery and installation of furniture to customer's homes in and around the London and South East areas.
the role will involve heavy lifting due to the products that you will be delivering. Assistance will be given with a driver’s mate who will assist with both delivery and installation
This role is a customer facing position so the ideal candidate must be polite and professional, experience with white glove service would be beneficial.

Start times of 06:00, minimum working hours of 8 per day. This is a Monday to Saturday working week, normally with a 4 day shift pattern.
Pay rate for this position £13.92 per hour PAYE. Overtime pay is paid at £20.88 after working 41 hours

Being a Chef…

The shift pattern for this role is 4 shifts per week (out of 7 days) at any of our sites across West & North Yorkshire and into Lancashire.

Start and finish times are site dependent (between 8am to 6pm)

You must have use of your own car (with business use insurance) for this role for which you will be paid applicable mileage at 45pence per mile.

Working at any of our sites you will prepare wholesome, nutritional meals for our residents always adhering to food safety legislation. As part of the catering team you will work alongside others in a calm and efficient manner. Working as a team you will demonstrate excellent culinary skills, teamwork and integrity. Our resident’s choices and dietary needs are priority, and you will pride yourself on providing fresh, delicious and well-presented meals. You will assist the head chef with paperwork, rotas, menus, ordering, seating plans etc and must be confident in using a computer to do so.

You will be reliable, trustworthy and hard-working as well as displaying our company values.

A good command of spoken and written English is essential for this role

What we’re looking for is someone who is keen on cooking and takes pride in kitchen hygiene standards. You’ll have a positive can-do approach, with good communication skills and you’ll be passionate about ensuring our residents receive the best service possible. You’ll be confident in engaging with our elderly residents to understand their individual needs and enjoy being part of the wider team in the home. Prepare a variety of menu items, such as wraps, sides and chicken wings.
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation according to established standards
Monitor food costs and manage inventory to optimise profitability
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for menu development.
Work with other kitchen team members to ensure a smooth kitchen operation.
