What you'll do: Join our team at Liskeard Premier Innas a Kitchen Team Member, cooking up tasty meals for our well rested Premier Inn guests. Be part of the UK's leading hospitality business, Whitbread.

We are seeking an experienced relief cook to join our small team in cooking and preparing residents meals in our care home. You will be working with a kitchen assistant so cooking experience is necessary to prepare and serve meals according to dietary and nutrition requirements. Unfortunately Cathedral View are unable to provide sponsorship.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good communication skills and be reliable.

Responsibilities: - Assist the head cook and work along side a kitchen assistant take the lead in daily meal prep, following recipes and presentation guidelines.

- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.

- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.

- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed.

- Comply with food safety standards and regulations at all times.

- Knowledge of food safety practices.

- Ability to work well in a team environment.

- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Working Times:

5 days over a 7-day week, including alternate weekends. 07:00 - 18:00 hours and shift patterns can be discussed with the Head Cook on interview.

Training:

You would ideally be an experienced cook already, with usual settling in training given . Paid induction day, weekly pay into your bank account. Free parking, meals on duty and lovely working atmosphere.

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour.

As a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to 12.64 per hour.

Due to some responsibilities within the Team Member role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and will be required to handle and serve alcohol.
