Working 45 hours per week, you will benefit from from daytime hours only as we trade from 09:00 until 17:00 Monday to Saturday, and 10:00 until 16:00 on Sundays.

With previous catering/hospitality-based experience, you will be a self-motivated effective communicator that enjoys working as part of a team.

* Support and assist with unannounced BRC and customer audit preparation and factory performance on the day, aiming to retain AA+
grade.

* Management of the pest control site visits and non-conformance close outs

* Supervise the QA / Technical team including co-ordinating rotas, responsibilities, and attendance.
* Working with production and the QA team to ensure paperwork is correct and traceability is maintained.

* Co-ordinate micro analysis testing, trending, and performance

Job Description

• Manage the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchens ensuring the company’s reputation for food quality is maintained at all times.
• Organise the planning, preparation, cooking and presentation of food to the standards required by the company and the client.
• Ensure supplies are correctly issued, used and accounted for to carry out stock takes and food rotation procedures.
• Set objectives and be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchens including supervising the recruitment and selection process
• Assess employee performance and recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.
• Continuously update your industry knowledge on current food trends and ingredients.
• Control and achieve agreed financial targets whilst maximising all commercial opportunities, communicating this with the team as and when needed.
• Ensure that the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience working as a Head Chef or similar role

Your Skills and Experience:

* CIPD Qualification to Level 5, working towards or equivalent on the job experience
* Experience of handling sensitive and confidential information within legislative requirements (preferable)

* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

The Opportunity

As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our hotel is clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests.
