The Waiter serves to assist with the daily food service operations within the senior living community, ensuring a high standard of service, resident well-being, and compliance with safety and dietary requirements. The Waiter’s responsibilities include, but shall not be limited to:
- Greet customers and present menus.
- Make menu recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver orders to the kitchen and ensure accuracy and timeliness of delivery.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely with great hospitality.
- Check customers’ satisfaction and attend to requests for additional services, such as ordering dessert or taking extra orders.
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Ensure cleanliness of tables and dining areas.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Carry out other tasks as instructed by the F&B Team Leader.
