Our client is a leading global investment manager who are ambitious, sustainable and inclusive. The role we are recruiting is based in the heart of London City with circa 2500 employees in the building plus potential tenant opportunities, Our retail offer includes an agile and dynamic Staff Restaurant, Coffee Bar and Micro Market.
In addition, our Hospitality offer is provided for 45 client facing meeting rooms, a dedicated auditorium with refreshments, light breakfast/lunches to fine dining and canape events In addition we deliver an events solution to a roof top garden. We also support the delivery of free issue break out spaces.

Job Description Responsible for the overall management and successful operation of the catering facilities. This includes planning and executing catering events, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overseeing financial performance.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff, including servers, chefs, and kitchen staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to staff.
Customer Service:
- Interact with clients to build strong relationships and address any concerns or special requests.
- Ensure high-quality customer service standards are maintained throughout all catering events.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for catering operations.
- Monitor and control expenses, including food costs and labour.
- Maximize revenue through effective pricing and upselling.
Menu Development:
- Collaborate with chefs to create and update catering menus.
- Keep menus current, reflecting industry trends and dietary preferences.
Quality Control:
- Maintain high-quality food and service standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Inventory and Procurement:
- Manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and catering supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of necessary items.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and training for staff.
Marketing and Sales:
- Promote catering services to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Participate in marketing and sales efforts to grow the catering business.
Qualifications - Successful catering background
- Excellent communicator at all levels
- Financially and commercially astute
- Excellent Management experience
- Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead.
- Demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate or above
