The Opportunity
Carl Zeiss Meditec AG invests into profitable growth, including inorganic growth opportunities that enhance and complement ZEISS Medical Technology’s workflow solution strategy. Therefore, we are seeking for an experienced HR Business Manager (f/m/x) based in one of our locations in Germany (Berlin, Jena, Oberkochen, Munich), who is passionate about driving all people, culture and organization related activities as part of Post Merger Integration (PMI) projects.

Your role
- Steer and drive all people and culture activities as part of a large Post Merger Integration (PMI) project from a holistic HR perspective.
- Lead the PMI HR team and collaborate with cross-functional teams focusing on effective integration strategy.
- Drive organizational development by defining target organization and operating model.
- Coordinate the alignment of cultures, HR systems, and policies during merger and implement targeted HR solutions.
- Drive HR-related change management initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions in PMI context.
- Design standard HR integration processes and tools ensure proper document in a playbook.
- Lead and align HR-related communication with Group Communications as well as change management strategies, focusing on transparency, collaboration, and continuous feedback.
- Act as a strategic HR business partner for management teams, providing professional HR advisory services.
- Steer and innovate further HR projects and initiatives with global and regional priorities, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
Your profile
- Holds a relevant academic degree (e.g. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and a Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred)
- Several years of proven experience as an HR Business Manager in a global corporate environment, with expertise in operational HR-related processes and tools as well as proven track record of leading large PMI projects
- Proven expertise in managing people and culture aspects of mergers and acquisitions is an advantage.
- Strong expertise in organizational development, change management and cultural transformation.
- Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, negotiation and coaching skills, to manage diverse teams in a global, culturally diverse environment.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving and process improvement skills and the capacity to influence and engage at all levels within the organization with a focus on creating innovative HR solutions.
- Strong project management skills
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in other languages (e.g., German, Dutch) being advantageous.
