Asian United Food Service is a family-owned wholesaler and distributor servicing the food service and catering sectors across the Northern Territory and surrounding remote communities. We supply a wide range of businesses, including restaurants, cafes, clubs, pubs, hotels, QSR's, service stations, and various government agencies and departments. With over 40 years of experience in Darwin, we have grown to become an award-winning leader in our industry. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a full-time team member to join our Contracts team.
The Role
As part of the Contracts Team, you will be responsible for keying in and processing a large volume of customer orders into Dynamics 365, ready for the Warehouse Team to pick and pack. You will also be required to liaise and co-ordinate any special customer requests and provide administrative assistance and support to the rest of the team as required.
This position is:
Full time, averaging 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday
Has an immediate start
Duties/Responsibilities
• Enter/process Contract customer phone / email / online orders into Dynamics 365
• Provide solutions to all customer calls / emails for special requests and queries
• Contact customers to advise of unavailable items and provide alternatives
• Process any amendments to picking slips to then generate invoices
• Assist with any other duties as per the Contracts Manager’s instructions
• Providing ad hoc administrative support as required
• Assisting with other various team/department orders
Skills/Competencies Required
• Have excellent phone manners
• Have experience in customer service, focusing on good outcomes for the customer
• Have experience in using computer systems, MS office, Outlook emails, Word and Excel
• Be proficient in the English language and have great writing, reading and speaking skills
• Be able to work in a robust environment
• Have a sense of humour
• Be reliable, punctual and have initiative
• Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Have full working rights in Australia
• Have experience in the food industry is highly considered
