The person is responsible for the Issue Room and Dry Storage Warehouse inventory distribute Personal Protective Equipment and production issues. Performs daily inventory daily cycle counts and weekly inventories. Generate reports and modify reports as needed. with dry storage materials. Assisting our frock and glove vendor with counting loading and unloading of soiled and clean items. May work in environmental conditions anywhere from minus 10 to 38 degrees. Must be able to lift push pull or carry up to 75 pounds. Must be able to complete assignments and duties with minimum supervision.  Will be responsible to charge parts out of inventory and input data into computer system to correct inventory to correct account numbers and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: Parts service or parts counter experience preferred

Computer Skills: Must be able to navigate computers using Windows and Outlook; will be trained on in-house systems i.e. SAP.

Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.

Special Skills: Ability to read inventory lists and manage plant inventory sheets to ensure facility is always fully stocked with proper boxes packaging chemicals and other inventory items. Receiving shipments and updating purchase orders in SAP. Must be able to complete the Forklift certification training.

Physical Requirements: Some lifting will be required when receiving parts. The weight range of the lifting will be between 50 lbs. and 75 lbs.; must be able to stand for long periods of time on a concrete floor; be able to use a pallet jack and or two wheeler.

SUMMARY: This location is part of our Prepared Foods Division and manufactures bacon! The Food Safety Quality Assurance General Manager is responsible for the daily management of all activities of the FSQA department to include food safety programs specification adherence and product quality for products within their assigned facility. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Oversight:

• Manage daily production practices, including the reception of raw materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of prior industry experience to fully grasp regulatory, production and manufacturing concepts preferred.  Experience with FDA and USDA regulated products.  SAP Experience a plus.

Ihre Qualifikation

• Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss in einem technischen und / oder betriebswirtschaftlichen Bereich (d.h. Elektrotechnik, Maschinenbau, Physik, BWL, o.ä.)
• Mindestens 8 + Jahre Erfahrung in der Produktentwicklung und/oder im Projektmanagement, vorzugsweise in der Medizinprodukteindustrie
• Minimum 4 Jahre Erfahrung als Software-Projektmanager

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the daily management of all activities of the FSQA department to include food safety programs specification adherence and product quality for products within their assigned facility. In addition, the FSQA Manager will oversee all special projects as assigned, departmental budgets, turnover and safety. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Daily oversight of production practices including raw material receiving requirements; pre-operational and operational sanitation; finished product quality and Food Safety Systems; ensuring all Tyson FSQA policies and procedures are followed
• Monitoring verification and documentation associated with adherence to government regulations
• Developing, implementing and maintaining the HACCP, PCQI, SOP, GMP and SSOP based programs
• Ensuring finished product conforms to customer product and label specifications
• Report product issues and audit results to plant and corporate FSQA, plant management, corporate sales and/or operations
• Interacting with customers and their agents for product showings, plant tours and audits; visits to customer facilities
• Initial product runs and investigation response to quality related customer complaints
• Monitoring microbiological results; conducting bacterial swabs and generating shelf-life environmental graphs
• Performing research and development activities
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining food safety and quality programs and for the selecting, training and managing of FSQA Supervisors and FSQA Technicians
• Facilitating both the Food Safety and Foreign Material teams at the plant
• Completing required internal, regulatory, and customer audits
• Managing Hold Release inventories at plant level in SAP.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in food safety, animal science, natural science, or a related technical field, or equivalent job experience essential to the role.

Experience: 5+ years of industry experience, with 8+ years preferred. Experience with USDA regulated products is preferred, and SAP experience is a plus.

Computer Skills: Proficient in standard computer skills, including spreadsheet generation and template development for effective communication with plant management, corporate FSQA, sales, and operations.

Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to correspond effectively with team members at all levels, from the production line to corporate management.

Special Skills: Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with various facets within the organization and serving as the plant liaison to USDA. HACCP Certified, GFSI Certified, and PCQI Certified are preferred.

Supervisory Skills: 2+ years of direct supervisory experience, with 5+ years preferred.

Travel: Occasional travel, approximately 2-5 trips per year.

Description

The Sanitation Manager leads the Sanitation team and supports sanitation excellence throughout the plant.  Directs and manages the management team to ensure the cleaning of the plant production equipment and facility to meet food safety requirements as required by FSQA, USDA/FDA regulations and meet customer quality and safety standards. Ensures Team Members follow Company policies and procedures. Ensures sanitation quality and department efficiencies are maintained at or above standards. Supports the commitment and continual improvement to Food Safety and Quality programs.

Task

This role is a highly technical position that requires proficiency in problem solving, investigations and root cause analysis as it relates to sanitation and identification of related issues with the processing facility.  The ideal candidate would demonstrate proficiency in leadership, problem solving, and the ability to influence others to be successful. Applies principles of food safety, microbiology, sanitary operation principles, sanitary equipment design, HACCP, root cause analysis, risk assessment, issues management, regulatory compliance, and quality control. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Safety, Microbiology, Engineering or related technical field preferred with 3+ years of progressive experience in the food industry sanitation experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of a personal computer outfitted with Microsoft Office software including Word Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and sanitary design. 7 steps of sanitation
• Experience in successfully addressing environmental wet and dry sanitation challenges in areas such as drains, floors, walls, roofs, and equipment.
• Thorough knowledge and experience with diverse sanitizing applications.
• Understands the principles behind verification and validation methods and has experience in application.
• Effective written and oral communication. Ability to engage all levels of employees and ability to work effectively with a team are required.
• Knowledge of HACCP and sanitation principles.
• Knowledge and experience working with both COP and CIP operations.
• Understand and can apply basic through basic microbiological principles.
• Proficient in analytical, critical, inductive, and deductive logic and reasoning.
• Adaptable, flexible yet effective in time and scheduling management. Occasionally required to conduct meeting or lead groups discussions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 2 years management experience and knowledge of occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.
