RESPONSIBILITIES

Senior Manager, Plans & Development is responsible for the sensing making of MINDS' strategic and operational environment. S/He plans, implements and reviews MINDS' medium to long term plans & initiatives. S/He is also conscientious in ascertaining and assessing relevant strategic and operational matters that might impact MINDS' business model, modus operandi and strategies, Mission and Vision.

S/He is required to conduct strategic reviews/analysis, study into areas of organisation development, and think tank pieces that will help to reframe and transform the organisation for the future.

S/He may work in various settings within MINDS that pertain directly or indirectly to the organisation's strategic and management planning processes. Job Description :

Purpose of Job

The Head of Community Services & Programmes will lead, plan and organise YWCA’s community services programmes. He/She will engage and collaborate with community stakeholders, facilitate strategic partnerships with partners, donors and sponsors, as well as oversee fundraising and member engagement. Key Responsibilities Areas

Programmes

• Develop strategies to increase community engagement and cultivate partnerships with stakeholders.
• Build and grow relationships with community organizations, programme partners, grassroots organisations, sponsors and stakeholders, and identify opportunities for collaboration.

• Responsible for devising innovative services to continually improve service levels and delight customers

Job Requirements

• Degree in any discipline with minimum 3 years’ work experience in Healthcare industry
• Healthcare operational experience will be advantageous although not necessary
• At least 2 years of experience in managing frontline staff
• Analytical, quantitative with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint

The Policy & Total Reward Manager is accountable for implementing a compelling, attractive, competing and cost-effective reward package for the associates of the company on a local level according to the guidelines as defined on Global/Central Level.

The Policy & Total Reward Manager is responsible for the payroll activities like time and attendance, administration, process and policies. The Policy & Total Reward Manager guarantees that salaries and wages are paid accurately on time and in line with the applicable legislation.

Responsibilities/ Key Activities:

• Conduct Market Analysis and Salary Survey Participation and implement market analysis to ensure internal and external equity and market competitiveness
• Roll-out and follow-up of reward programs including the development, implementation, annual review/updating of salary structures, and the annual merit process
• Ensure benefit programs are market competitive and aligned with the reward philosophy and the BU alongside with the creation and the implementation of incentive plans and Benefit Programs
• Internal professional advice and supporting the business with all aspects of remuneration and legislation
• Managing and monitoring Annual Operating Plan (AOP) / Budget for the Johor site by working closely with respective HRBPs
• Ensure that any company benefit programs, medical care, pensions, bonuses etc are managed efficiently and effectively and monitor compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance
• Update payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers
• Coordinating and managing the payroll process for the organization and suggests changes/upgrades as and when required
• Check and audit all payrolls to ensure legislative and awards compliance and maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation alongside with enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions
• Fully manager the insurance management and administration process
• Fully responsible on HR analytical data, dashboards or any statistical or survey data for the business from time to time
• Undertake internal/external research on best practice in HR policies and practices identifying necessary changes and recommendations
• Ensure that HR policies are maintained
• Develop systematic feedback mechanisms for evaluating policy impact and effectiveness, and mechanisms for respective policy updates and changes, considering evolving organisational goals and needs
• Provide advice on application, and where necessary interpretation, of Policies and Practices considering past practice and precedents and, if necessary, case law
• Promote consistent application of HR policies and practices throughout the organisation

Reporting to the Assistant Director / Senior Manager/ Manager, Operations and Operations Development and Environmental Sustainability, you will support the department in streamlining processes, improve operational efficiency, systems, and workflows by integrating environmentally responsible practices into daily operations and the long-term goals and strategies of the institution. You will also drive continuous improvements across the various operational sectors with the aim of promoting, initiating, and implementing initiatives with regards to sustainable practices.

You will support the Assistant Director / Senior Manager/ Manager in the planning, execution and management of Operations Development and Environmental Sustainability requirements. You will lead the section section under your charge in providing support to the respective functions. As the key contact on the ground, you are expected to work closely with stakeholders (both internal and external) to meet requirements and be the effective change agent to implement the change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from recognised disciplines
• At least 6 years of relevant working experience
• Working experience in healthcare operations, project management, technology related fields or environmental sustainability would be an added advantage
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and analytical skills

As the Asst Restaurant Manager, you shall willingly and diligently carry out the duties assigned to you from time to time, including but not limited to the following:

• Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing of the service of the Restaurant.
• Greet and coordinate the seating of guests, assign guests to tables suitable to the size of each group.
• Recognise the regular guests and highlight to the Restaurant Manager about the particular guest’s preferences.
• Ensure guests’ requests are not delayed during the operations of in the Restaurant.
• Record and report all guests’ complaints to the Restaurant Manager immediately.
• Ensure team briefings are carried out before each service period.
• Ensure that no standing bills stays on the system, and account for all voided.
• Promote the Restaurant by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a regular customer database and personalized customer service.
• Handle emergency and difficult situations.
• Adjust any modifications to checks or bills.
• Ensure that the Supervisors & Captains in their sections are able to describe the dishes for the evening and any extra dishes (specials) properly and are well groomed, properly attired and efficient.
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, the maintenance of furnishings and equipment and the proper set up of in the Restaurant.
• Participate in monthly physical stock take of the Restaurant, including but not limited to glassware, plate and crockery.
• Assisting the Restaurant Manager in Implementing and developing of training programs.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
