Job Objectives
We are seeking an experienced Qlik Sense Developer & Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing complex Qlik Sense dashboards, generating NPrinting reports, and strong experience managing large Qlik platforms.
The role requires someone who can effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across various business domains and has experience in documentation and change management processes. This role will be based in Singapore
Key Responsibilities
Qlik Sense Development
· Design, develop, and implement complex Qlik Sense dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
· Create, maintain, and optimize Qlik data models to ensure high performance and reliability.
· Develop and schedule NPrinting reports to meet business requirements.
· Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure user needs are met.
Qlik Sense Administration
· Manage and maintain the Qlik Sense platform, including user management, security roles, and system monitoring.
· Ensure the stability and performance of the Qlik environment through regular system maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Qlik Sense applications, data loads, and server performance. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance across the Qlik platform.
Stakeholder Management
· Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
· Work closely with stakeholders from various business areas to understand their reporting needs and provide solutions that add value.
· Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users to maximize the adoption and usage of Qlik Sense.
· Plan & collaborate across different application teams to manage technical and functional dependencies of the solution.
· Collate, understand and finalize functional and technical requirements .
· Provide status update related to technical delivery to Project Manager (PM)/ Program Manager on functional deliveries.
· Partner with Architects and Development Lead to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards.
· Partner with Development Manager in managing application teams to build the enhancements.
· Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance / load testing and application security testing with quality results.
· Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions.
Documentation and Change Management
· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, system configurations, and user guides.
· Manage the change process, ensuring that all changes to the Qlik platform are thoroughly tested, documented, and approved before implementation.
· Maintain version control and ensure proper documentation of all development changes.
· Prepare and manage technical implementation plan across application teams - coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure non-event production cutover and adequate post implementation support
Key Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience
· Extensive experience in developing complex Qlik Sense dashboards and NPrinting reports.
· Strong knowledge of Qlik Sense architecture, data modelling, and visualization best practices.
· Experience in managing large-scale Qlik Sense environments, including performance tuning and system monitoring.
· Setting up of Disaster Recovery sites for Qlik Sense implementation
· Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Experience with documentation and change management processes
· Good track record in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company with annual budgetary responsibility.
· Working closely with stakeholders to develop practical domain roadmaps to move the enterprise towards the future state vision, while considering business, technical and delivery constraints
· Experience in banking industry preferred
· Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery
· Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications and technical specifications and systems development and testing experience
· Good understanding and experience in software development cycle
· Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders
Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills.
Education
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar domain
· Related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory.
